Netflix Renews Nobody Wants This for a Fourth Season

Another season is on the way

Netflix has renewed Nobody Wants This for a fourth season, bringing Kristen Bell and Adam Brody’s romantic comedy back for another chapter.

The streamer confirmed the renewal Friday and said filming will take place in Los Angeles. It has not announced a release date, according to its Tudum announcement.

The series, created by Erin Foster, follows the relationship between Joanne, played by Bell, and Noah, played by Brody. Foster runs the show with Jenni Konner and Bruce Eric Kaplan.

What Netflix has confirmed

Netflix said the next season will follow the developments of season three, with more people in the characters’ lives learning about changes in their relationship. Its announcement did not provide a filming start date or episode count.

Bell and Brody’s characters are at the center of a story about two people from different backgrounds navigating a relationship and family expectations. Supporting cast members include Justine Lupe, Timothy Simons and Jackie Tohn, according to Variety.

A quick return to the screen

Nobody Wants This premiered in 2024; its second season followed in 2025. Variety reported that the first season spent eight weeks on Netflix’s global top 10 English-language television chart and the second spent four weeks there.

The third season premiered in October 2026. As with any unreleased season, casting, scheduling and creative plans may change; viewers will have to wait for a premiere announcement.
