‘Killer Clown’ Stalks Village for Weeks, Terrifying Residents

Residents of a village just over 30 miles from Glasgow have been living in fear due to the presence of a ‘killer clown’ who has been stalking the streets for weeks. The clown, who goes by the name Cole Deimos on Facebook, has been posting chilling images of himself in various locations around the village, often in the dark, and sometimes even crawling on all fours over a bridge.

Disturbing Images and Red Balloons

The clown’s Facebook account showcases images of him with a terrifying smile, holding a red balloon reminiscent of Pennywise from Stephen King’s “It.” The red balloon is a symbol used by Pennywise in the book and movies to lure children to their deaths. The clown has also been leaving these red balloons around the village, further adding to the fear and panic among the residents.

Locals Express Concern

One concerned local, who chose to remain anonymous, mentioned that he has stopped letting his two sons, aged 11 and 13, out at night due to the clown’s activities. He expressed his concerns, stating, “Whoever this is they are scaring everybody – he needs to be stopped. Someone needs to have a word with him before the police get involved or he really terrifies someone. He could give someone a heart attack.” Another resident named Pauline shared that the photos and videos of the clown had been removed from the Facebook page, but they had already circulated on social media, causing widespread fear.

Police Awareness

The police are aware of the Facebook posts and the concerns of the villagers. Cole Deimos’ Facebook profile mentions that he is ‘self-employed’, studied ‘at Clown School’, and resides in Skelmorlie.
